"Investors are more aware of the candidates presented and where corporate governance best practices have been developed, they are willing to support the majority lists as a sign of confidence", states Andrea Di Segni, Sodali partner, on Corriere della Sera. International institutional investors and, in general, funds start in fact (unintentionally ) to set up a sort of "shadow government": they neither command nor want to do it, but they are able, throughout the weight on the capital of the main Italian companies, to have a key role and influence in addressing governance choices.
