Italian AGMs: Board members, proposed by Institutional Investors, get plenty of votes in the last proxy season

In an article published in La Repubblica, Fabio Bianconi, Morrow Sodali’s Senior Director, comments about the successful campaign of institutional investors in the last AGM season in Italy. The presence of funds' candidates to a board seat - the so-called ''Assogestioni list'' - is now a practice. Investors are increasingly appreciating diversity (not just gender) in the boards of directors, represented by minority shareholder.
