What happened in the last proxy season in Italy, and which is the investors’ approach? Francesco Surace from Morrow Sodali noted on Formiche that in Italy it is possible to see a new approach of investors towards the lists presented by the majority shareholders:in renewals of Intesa Sanpaolo and Assicurazioni Generali boards, in fact, there was a strong consensus from the market, the result of a constant dialogue with the market by issuers, with results that were significantly in contrast to previous seasons in which institutional investors have supported the lists by Assogestioni.
