This article by El País illustrates the key findings from the Lighthouse 2023 report, released recently by Morrow Sodali. Based on the data of the study, it showcases how institutional investors are becoming increasingly engaged in annual shareholder meetings of listed companies in Spain.
Eduardo Sancho, corporate governance manager at Morrow Sodali, comments "There is a greater commitment of institutional investors, as demonstrated by their growing participation, but in a more critical way because they challenge the board so dissidence is rising a little more".
