Shareholders positive on “say on sustainability”

In an article published in Plus24 - Il Sole 24 Ore, Andrea Di Segni Morrow Sodali’s Managing Director, comments on the current trend that sees corporate governance and sustainability as one world.
“Climate change is now a shareholder’s metric. Only a few years ago all this would have been unimaginable,” underlines Fabio Bianconi, Morrow Sodali Senior Director.
Indeed, based on the findings of our latest Institutional Investor Survey 2021, emerges that “say on sustainability”, likewise the “say on pay”, could rule the votes at the upcoming shareholder meetings. A greater transparency on environmental factors can be achieved through the engagement with the Board of Directors.
