The first in-person IOC Annual Forum organized by the Independent Oversight Committee (IOC) and Assogestioni (Italian investment management association), will be held on 11 October in Rome. The IOC Annual Forum brings together all types of stakeholders to discuss the proxy voting advisory and research industry, and its Best Practice Principles (BPP). The IOC's annual review of the BPP and the public compliance statements of each BPP Signatory will be presented and discussed at the Forum with investors, listed companies, regulators and stakeholders.
Following the IOC Annual Forum, Assogestioni will host the Auxiliary Corporate Governance Conference entitled “Corporate governance and stewardship: a comparison of international practices and trends” from 12-14 October at the Auditorium Hall of the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome. The conference will explore key international issues and best practices for corporate governance, stewardship, remuneration and sustainability.
Stilpon Nestor, Senior Advisor, Morrow Sodali, will be the keynote speaker on the panel “Rewarding performance: trends and perspectives on financial and non-financial metrics” which will take place on 12 October. Joining him for this high-level discussion are Stefano Donnarumma, CEO, Terna, Alessandro Profumo, CEO, Leonardo, Secondina Ravera, Investor and Board Member, Destination Italia, Michael McCauley, Senior Officer, Investment Programs & Governance, Florida SBA, and Enrico Colombo, Lead Analyst Investment Stewardship, Vanguard, along with moderator Stephen Davis, Senior Fellow, Harvard Law School and Chair, IOC.
