ESG Week: ESG dimensions in the banking business – from why to how

There is a growing awareness in the banking sector of the need to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into their strategies, processes and products. The introduction of these ESG issues in the banking sector is shaping up to be a true opportunity to generate value from a medium to long term perspective and is supported by the regulatory evolution.

The “ESG week” is organized by ABIServizi, part of the ABI (Italian Banking Association), and starts on November 3rd. It aims to provide guidance and in-depth analysis on “how” the integration of ESG elements can be strategically accelerated in the banking industry.

Andrea Di Segni, Managing Director of Morrow Sodali, will participate in the session focusing on “Reporting and Communication” to be held online on November 4th. He will discuss the most important trends concerning the ESG demands of institutional investors at an international level, with a special focus on Italy.
