IR Webinar: Impact of UK Corporate Governance Code proposals with the FRC

IR Society in partnership with the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) will be hosting a webinar on the proposed changes to the UK Corporate Governance Code and the potential impacts on Investor Relations.

Please join Patrick McNamara, Manager, Board & Governance at Morrow Sodali together with Jessica Dahlstrom, Corporate Governance Senior Manager at Financial Reporting Council,  Amie Gramlick, Head of Investor Relations at Network International Holdings PLC, and Rakesh Patel, Director, Investor Relations at Haleon, for an interesting discussion on the Impact of UK Corporate Governance Code.

The panel discussion, moderated by Liz Cole, Head of Policy and Communications - IR Society will  explore issues including:

• The implications around the audit committee taking on oversight of narrative reporting (including sustainability reporting and, where appropriate, ESG metrics)
• Audit committees taking the lead on engagement with shareholders and other stakeholders regarding the AAP (including in relation to resilience statement and internal controls)
• 'Overboarding' and the proposal that all ‘significant’ director appointments are listed in the annual report with an indication of their time commitments
• The proposed increase in transparency/disclosure around the company's 'usage' of malus and clawback arrangements
