The IBGC Technical Journey: training sessions for board members and executives of Brazilian listed companies

On 5th September 2023, on the premises of Linklaters in London, David Risser, Managing Director of Board & Governance at Morrow Sodali, presented the key fiduciary duties and conflict of interest in the UK and Europe to a delegation of board members and executives of Brazilian listed companies, within the context of an international study trip organized by the IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa in the UK.

The delegates had the opportunity to exchange views with several experts on corporate governance, capital markets in the global context, stewardship and the relationship between Brazil and the United Kingdom. The agenda also included a visit to the London Stock Exchange, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), and a dialogue with Tom Attenborough, Head of International Business Development, Primary Markets at LSEG, and Agnes Blanco Querido, Managing Director Brazil at Morrow Sodali, on LSEG listing, challenges, rules and opportunities.
