Adam has a 20-year track record of delivering public policy outcomes through leading research, stakeholder engagement and winning campaigns. His experience cuts across the healthcare, disability services, agriculture, infrastructure, energy, freight and logistics and housing sectors.

Most recently, Adam led the peak business industry group for the Illawarra region in NSW for 6 years. In this role, Adam tripled the membership, built a new corporate leadership dialogue between industry members and state and federal governments, and fronted numerous advocacy, public relations and media campaigns to resolve complex policy problems – including regulatory challenges that Illawarra businesses faced during the 2019 Australian bushfire season and the 2020-21 global pandemic.

Adam also spent 6 years as a Chief of Staff in the NSW Government, working in the challenging portfolios of health, disability services and multicultural affairs. In this time, he navigated the daily issues within the public hospital system, delivered a landmark reform in the National Disability Insurance Scheme and responded appropriately and sensitively to violent extremism in the aftermath of the 2014 Lindt Café siege.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
