Tianran Chen brings over 15 years of expertise across management consulting, equity research, investor relations, and corporate governance advisory. She possesses a deep understanding of global financial markets and is passionate about helping listed companies develop strategic shareholder engagement solutions.
Before joining Sodali & Co, Tianran held senior roles at Georgeson and Orient Capital, specializing in ownership intelligence, proxy solicitation, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, and shareholder activism. In her current role, Tianran leads business development initiatives across Greater China and Southeast Asia. She has advised on numerous high-profile M&A transactions, including JD.com’s privatization of Dada Nexus, L’Occitane’s privatization, RGE’s privatization of Vinda, Alibaba Health’s acquisition of businesses from Alibaba Group, Bain Capital’s privatization of Chindata, and China Jinmao’s privatization of China Vast. Tianran is also a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, reflecting her commitment to advancing ESG and sustainability practices.
