Andrea Di Segni, Managing Director at Morrow Sodali, commented in an article, published by LegalCommunity MAG, about the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) season in Italy.
In particular Di Segni argued that “as a consequence of the Covid crisis and its impact, Institutional Investors are increasingly paying attention to the executive remuneration policies which should be in line with the company's stock price and risk management factors."
"The Covid-19 emergency led also to a sharp slowdown in the usual shareholder engagement in Italian listed companies, especially in the pre-assembly engagement activities phase," added Di Segni.
