After the summer break, six Italian banks will become SpA, but the institutional shareholders are waiting to know what will be their role in the new entities, of which they will surely be the main stakeholders. Although in recent months banks are explaining to the market the results achieved and the next industrial targets, according to many people the rate of involvement of funds is still too low.
According to data collected by Sodali and reported by Andrea Di Segni on Milano Finanza, in fact, from 2010 the participation of minorities in general meetings has grown by an average of 160% for Italian companies, going from 10.7 to 27.6 % of the capital.
