In the Italian law decree related to the economic measures decided on to deal with the current Coronavirus crisis, a rule is to be inserted stating that shareholders' meetings can be postponed by approximately 180-210 days. The decree reminds the ban prohibiting large gatherings of people, thus all company assemblies are destined to be postponed.
Our Managing Director Andrea Di Segni commented in the Corriere Della Sera: "one way to solve the problem with the current rules is the massive use of votes by proxy. Small shareholders can have access to the designated company representative.”
