In this year 2020, the corporate map has been redrawn and Spanish listed companies by capitalization have lost significant positions vs US corporates in the Stock Exchanges rankings among the winners of the new order.
In this article, published in the Spanish newspaper El País and in its supplement Negocios, Borja Miranda Johansson, Morrow Sodali's Head of M&A and Activism for Europe and Latin America, points out that "business models may be quite mature and might require reshaping internal processes and structures so to be agile and reflect changes in the growth strategy in a fast demanding business environment."
