Insightia has released its M&A Activism report in association with Vinson & Elkins and Morrow Sodali.
The report looks at how the post-pandemic M&A boom has given activists new avenues for value creation, activists are turning into buyers rather than instigators of strategic alternatives, and the evolution of deal defense.
Insightia editor-in-chief Josh Black said, "M&A activism has changed rapidly since our last report on this subject in 2019, with many of the biggest campaigns over the last two summers dramatically shaped by this deal-making window. While their current tactics are dependent on what management teams are doing, we've tried to give an insight into how activists view their role in these bullish times."
