Sodali & Co Strengthens Brazil Presence with Successful Debt Restructuring for Azul

Building on our historic presence in Brazil, Sodali & Co is proud to have assisted the airline Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (Azul) in its successful debt restructuring. In December 2024, Azul launched exchange offers for its three series of secured notes, alongside a solicitation of consents to amend the existing notes’ indentures.

Sodali & Co acted as Information and Exchange Agent in Azul's debt restructuring. This successful, complex transaction marks another achievement for our Global Debt Services team in Brazil.

The exchange offers saw very high participation across all three series of secured notes by the January 21, 2025, deadline. These exchange offers were a key part of Azul’s broader recapitalization strategy, aimed at improving liquidity and reducing debt.
