Angus is an accomplished M&A, activism, and corporate governance leader. He spent five years in the Sodali & Co Sydney office where he advised on shareholder approvals for over $400 billion of M&A deals and activism situations, including more than $180 billion in cross-border deals. During his time in Sydney, Angus led Sodali & Co to become the leading company-side Proxy Solicitation (M&A and Activism) firm in APAC. In August 2024, he relocated to London to take on an EMEA role as Head of Shareholder Services and continue supporting our European clients to navigate shareholder and stakeholder dynamics during transactions.
Angus has more than 20 years’ experience operating in senior roles in corporate affairs, marketing and sales, government and investor relations. He has held senior positions with ASX100 companies, most recently with Charter Hall Group as Group Head of Communications and External Affairs. Prior to joining Charter Hall, Angus held a similar role at global property and infrastructure developer, Lendlease. Angus has a strong track record in managing corporate reputational issues across internal and external stakeholder groups.
Angus has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Bond University, a Graduate Diploma in Investment and Finance from Western Sydney university and a Diploma of Investor Relations from AIRA.
