When will the SPAC boom spread beyond the US?

The SPAC boom continues to draw firms from around the globe to list in New York through ‘blank-check company’ deals. However regulators and exchanges around the world are actively reviewing rules and practices that have served to inhibit the use of special purpose acquisition companies in their jurisdictions to date, and we expect it is only a matter of time before the success these vehicles have enjoyed in the US is replicated elsewhere.
